The number of capsules to be taken depends on the indication in question and can be found in the instructions for use. For example, in the case of diarrhoea or exposure to harmful substances, a dosage of 3 x 2 capsules is recommended for adults until the symptoms subside.

Humic acids are natural organic substances that are extracted from certain lignites and physically processed. During processing, great care is taken to ensure that natural properties are not destroyed and that the native character is retained. For example, high temperatures and the use of chemicals can change the structure and effect of natural humic acids. Processing is carried out according to a largely standardised procedure and the strict specifications developed at WH Pharmawerk Weinböhla GmbH. The result is a unique product with a highly specific quality – the well-known WH67® humic acids.Activated charcoal is produced from plant, animal, mineral or petroleum-based materials. It is created either by adding chemicals or by carbonisation at approx. 800°C.

Humic acids have special binding properties that have been widely studied and are valued in treatment. Yes, the capsule can be opened. The humic acid powder it contains can be stirred into tea and water, for example, or sprinkled over a meal. The capsule as such is not relevant as regards the effect of humic acids.

Humic acids display the well-studied ability to bind a wide variety of substances and remove them from the intestine. The University of Leipzig investigated whether humic acids also bind nutrients. A long-term study was able to demonstrate that humic acids have no influence on the nutrient content of intestinal contents. There is no risk of an insufficient supply. Humic acids can also interact with bacteria. Here, too, a number of scientific studies exist. These show that humic acids support the presence of desirable intestinal bacteria in the intestines. Pathogenic germs that have been studied are sensitive to humic acids.

It can be said that humic acids strengthen the body's own flora and enable it to remove pathogenic germs and substances from the body. Humic acids also adhere particularly well to inflamed areas and actively protect the mucous membrane. Humic acids therefore make a valuable contribution to intestinal health on several levels.

Yes, children 6 or older without swallowing difficulties can take Activomin® in capsule form. The capsules can also be easily opened at one end using scissors, and the powdered contents can then be taken with water or (lukewarm) tea. Adults with swallowing difficulties or an inflamed stomach lining can also use this method. Advice can be obtained from an informed doctor or from a pharmacy you trust.

From a scientific point of view, the physical effect mechanism underlying humic acids applies regardless of age and general physical condition (constitution). Activomin® is therefore generally suitable for use by pregnant and breastfeeding women up to a maximum of 3 x 1 capsule daily. Pregnant women should discuss taking the product with their trusted gynaecologist. There is no clinical data on use by breastfeeding or pregnant women.

A well-functioning digestive system with a well-maintained mucous membrane has a positive effect on intolerances and allergies. Activomin® can make an important contribution here.

Activomin® should be swallowed as a capsule before, with or after a meal, with sufficient water or tea. If necessary, the capsule can be opened and the contents can then be stirred into water or tea, or sprinkled directly over a meal.

Activomin® contains no animal ingredients and is suitable for a vegetarian or vegan diet. It is gluten-free.
